The Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival 2007 Free Events:

This year, additional events are being held to make your Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival experience even richer.

The Conservatory performances are held at the Festival Stage (Oak Meadow Park 200 Blossom Hill Road, Los Gatos) at 7:30 PM on those nights.

The Director Talk; Alumni Film; and Stage Reading of our 2008 Premier of "The Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers" are at The Los Gatos Women's Club meeting hall at 7:30 PM 550 Hubbel Way, Los Gatos (not far from Oak Meadow Park off University Avenue) See map below for directions: The Hall is across from Campo di Bocce Bocce Ball club at 565 University Avenue.

Free Event #1: Thursday, July 5th, 7:30 PM Talk with the Director (Los Gatos Womens Club/Loose Hall)

Join Festival Theatre Ensemble's Artistic Director for a behind the scenes look at this seasons Shakespeare productions of Julius Caesar. Bruce De Les Dernier will also talk about how the production company prepares, as well as historical insight into the plays.

Free Event #2: Wednesday, July 18th, 7:30 PM Festival Theatre Film Night: "Seven Swans" (Los Gatos Womens Club/Loose Hall)

This special film night will feature the work of Festival Theatre Alumni Nika and Dennis Serras; who transformed the classic fairy tale into a short film. Discussion by the producers and Bruce De Les Dernier, FTE Artistic Director.

Free Event #4: Wednesday, July 25th, 7:30 PM Staged Reading: The Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers by Mark Pickens (Los Gatos Women's Club/Loose Hall)

Join this year's acting company as they provide a sneak preview of a new production coming to the Festival in 2008: "The Further Adventures of the Three Musketeers." Written by FTE Dramturg and ensemble actor Mark Pickens.
